Grow Your Career Without Working Crazy Hours By Focusing on Impact
So many people (and organizational cultures, sadly) focus way too much on how many hours people are working rather than what sorts of impact and results they deliver.
This doesn't have to be the case.
When we change our focus to impact, not hours, we can actually get more important things done in less time.
Use the Pareto Principle or 80/20 Rule. It suggests that 80% of the results we get are due to only 20% of the effort we put in. If we can focus on the 20% of actions that can deliver the greatest results, we can deliver more impact for our organizations and work fewer hours.
Just think—if you eliminated 80% of where you spend your time and focused it on even another 20%, you’re almost doubling your impact in less than half the time spent. Crazy, right?
Grow your career by focusing on work impact, not work hours. You'll be amazed at how it changes things!
How will you spend your time?
PS - if your boss doesn’t like this idea, show them how much more you’re getting done!

Engineer of the WEEK 1856 - 1915 Engineer - Inventor |
Nikola Tesla, born on July 10, 1856, in Smiljan, Croatia (then part of the Austrian Empire), was a brilliant and enigmatic inventor, engineer, and futurist. He immigrated to the United States in the late 19th century and quickly gained recognition for his innovative work in electrical engineering. Tesla's contributions include the development of alternating current (AC) electrical systems, numerous inventions related to electricity and magnetism, and pioneering work in wireless communication. Despite his incredible accomplishments, he faced financial challenges and spent his later years in relative obscurity, but his legacy as one of history's greatest inventors endures, with his name associated with countless technological advancements and the Tesla electric car company bearing his name in the 21st century.

📚 BOOK RECOMMENDATION
We all strive to be successful in our businesses and lives, and rely on logical thinking when making decisions. However, most successful people, including Richard Branson, Oprah and Bill Gates, use intuitive thinking to make their best decisions and in fact attribute it to a big part of their success. We all have it within us, but here’s the problem: most people have ignored their intuition for years and are unable or afraid to tap into it.
In this book Philip will challenge our obsession with goal setting and creating the right Mindset, rather than cultivating the more intuitive internal guidance system to allow our lives to flow. He has created a way of living called Soulset.
